Welcome to Anstruther Fish Bar & Restaurant
Award-winning fish and chips and fresh local seafood have always
been synonymous with Anstruther – and the ‘famous’
Anstruther Fish Bar. Our unique restaurant and takeaway has always
been a favourite of local residents and tourists alike and without
their support we wouldn’t be where we are today.
We look forward to making your visit to Anstruther a memorable
one and hope that through our policy of providing all customers
with the same excellent standards of service and using only the
freshest of local seafood, you will return and visit us again
for a quality ‘fish supper’!
We are situated on the attractive harbour front in Anstruther
where you can enjoy your takeaway fish and chips on the seating
area opposite the shop while listening to the sounds of the sea
and watching the local creel boat fishermen landing their daily
catch of crab and lobster. Don’t be tempted however to feed
the waiting hungry seagulls any leftovers – remember, what
goes up, must come down! Should you choose to sit-in, our 52 seater
restaurant offers fantastic views over the Firth of Forth and
successfully combines a traditional nautical theme with a typical
seaside ice cream parlour, creating an informal, relaxed and friendly
atmosphere for both diners in the restaurant and those waiting
to takeaway.
