At Anstruther Fish Bar we care passionately about where our food comes from and are proud to be able to showcase some of the best local and Scottish food producers. We work closely with these hand-picked producers ensuring that we can offer you the finest local and seasonal produce.

We are also lucky enough to have our very own fish processing business, Argofish, in nearby St Monans where all our Scottish seafood is hand-filleted after being purchased directly from the boats. We also produce a traditional smoked haddock, made by us in our Argofish Smokehouse. Our shellfish is all caught and landed here in the East Neuk of Fife.

When in season, we use Scottish fruit and vegetables sourced from growers throughout Fife, including Blacketyside Farm, Leven. Our potatoes are supplied by a local potato farmer, right here on the banks of the Firth of Forth.

We only use Scottish white puddings in Anstruther Fish Bar which are produced by Scott Brothers in Dundee. All our steak pies are produced by quality meat producers, Calder Millerfield in Glasgow, and our black and red puddings are made to a traditional recipe by McMillan’s in Glenrothes.

Seriously Good Venison supply us with our veniburgers which are made from prime-quality venison from their small hill farm outside Cupar, Fife. Even our rolls and artisan bread are baked here in Anstruther by award-winning baker G.H. Barnett & son.

Our own artisan ice creams are made on the premises with milk and cream from D&D Dairies of Crieff. Donald Peddie at Kilduncan Poultry Farm, Kingsbarns, supplies us with our eggs, while our cheeses are Lockerbie and the locally produced Anster Cheese.

Complementing our food are the impressive locally sourced ales, beers and wines from Eden Brewery and Cairn o' Mohr Scottish wine.
